    "description": "<h2>Summary</h2>\n<p><em><strong>Ale House - Host</strong></em></p>\n<p>SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:</p>\n<p>The Host/Hostess is responsible for prompt, friendly greeting, and proper seating of all guests of the restaurant and ensuring the smooth operation of the front of the restaurant.<strong> Pay rate is $16.00/hour. We are currently hiring for PT night shifts and weekends.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides information on all aspects of available services and facilities for guests.</li>\n <li>Greets guests and arrange seating, monitors room atmosphere.</li>\n <li>Quotes accurate waiting times and handle guest waiting lists or reservations in accordance with established procedure</li>\n <li>Assists guest with special request.</li>\n <li>Communicates with co-workers and supervisor to ensure quality service.</li>\n <li>Maintains a seating chart for the restaurant including the bar and the lounge. </li>\n <li>Directs the flow of work for both wait staff and bus person. </li>\n <li>Updates the floor chart regularly throughout the shift.</li>\n <li>Cleans menus as required throughout the shift.</li>\n <li>Cleans and organizes the host stand daily.</li>\n <li>Light dusting and maintaining the work area.</li>\n <li>Assists wait staff as necessary with to go orders etc. </li>\n <li>Provides prompt, friendly greeting and proper seating of all guests of the restaurant. </li>\n <li>Ensures the smooth operation of the front of the restaurant. </li>\n <li>Comply with all departments and company rules and regulations. </li>\n <li>Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.</li>\n <li>Always present oneself in a neat and clean appearance.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<p>JOB SPECIFICATIONS:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be 19 years or older.</li>\n <li>High school Diploma or education equivalent required.</li>\n <li>Previous customer service experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to interact with mobile devices and touch screen technology. </li>\n <li>Previous experience using Smart Phones and/or Tablets applications strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>BENEFITS</p>\n<ul>\n <li> Federal Employees Medical Coverage</li>\n <li>Full Insurance Coverage offering</li>\n <li> 401K with Immediate Vesting & Company Match</li>\n <li>Quarterly Incentive Program</li>\n <li>Vacation, Holiday & Sick Days</li>\n</ul>\n<p>CORE COMPETENCIES:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaboration Skills</li>\n <li>Guest Focus</li>\n <li>Communication Proficiency</li>\n <li>Flexibility</li>\n <li>Problem Solving</li>\n <li>Ethical Conduct</li>\n <li>Stress Management/Composure</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel is not required for this position.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>WORK HOURS:</p>\n<p>Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team members must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Is this position responsible for selling, serving, or distributing alcoholic beverages or do they have comp authority? Yes</p>\n<p>Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License.</p>\n<p>Other Certifications?
