Position Summary: You ensure impeccable operations by adhering to department policies, procedures, and guidelines. Your responsibilities include   precise compounding and  dispensing  of prescribed pharmaceuticals, essential for enrollment and ongoing prescription adherence   follow-up. Your diligence in checking each medication before dispensing ensures patient safety and treatment efficacy. Your  expertise  extends to comprehensive medication reconciliation integrated into electronic medical records during prescription verification. As the direct point of contact for clinical support to specialty clinics, your professionalism and enthusiasm contribute to top-quality patient care. Your dedication is the driving force behind our commitment to patient well-being, making a meaningful difference in pharmaceuticals and clinical care, one prescription at a time . Essential Responsibilities/Duties: You oversee the  accurate  preparation of medications, ensuring precision and attention to every  patient  detail for the highest quality prescriptions. Your crucial responsibility includes verifying all medications before they leave the pharmacy,  maintaining  strict quality standards. As an expert in compounding prescribed medications, you package and label with precision, ensuring correct and safe delivery to every patient. You provide invaluable consultations   to customers,   serving as a trusted source  for  information and support. Beyond pharmaceuticals, you dispense medical and surgical products,  demonstrating  a commitment to accuracy, including handling restricted items. Meticulous   record-keeping  ensures the  highest standards of accuracy and safety for all dispensed prescriptions. Your specialty  in handling order entry into pharmacy management  system streamlines   processes for  maximum efficiency. Patient care is at the core of your role, encompassing enrollments, ongoing  adherence  follow-ups, and ensuring patients receive the right care. Your excellence in  medication  reconciliation and seamless collaboration with electronic medical records ensures patient safety. Specialty  clinics turn  to you for pharmacy  clinical support , highlighting your dedication to providing vital  assistance . As a leader among pharmacy staff, you supervise compliance with federal, state, and applicable laws,  optimizing  operations through guidance and strategic reassignments. Your role extends to developing the pharmacy staff, providing direction, coaching, and  identifying  training gaps for career advancement. Maintaining  contact with physicians and providers ensures a seamless experience for patients, highlighting your effective communication skills. Your attention to detail in handling third-party insurance forms and paperwork ensures smooth transactions and clear records. As a professional, you uphold the  highest standards , providing a confidential and respectful environment for customers. Your unwavering commitment to compliance with accreditation, legal, regulatory, and safety requirements, including DEMPOS standards, ensures adherence to all standards. Providing invaluable drug education and counseling, your  expertise  helps patients navigate their treatments. Maintaining  professional and specialized competencies, your commitment to continued education keeps you at the forefront of your field. Your dedication  ensures  every patient receives the care and respect they deserve . Education: A PharmD or bachelor's degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy is  required . Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations : An active Pharmacist licensure (in good standing) to practice pharmacy in the state in which you are applying in or and/or the ability to  acquire  this at the time of hire is  required . Knowledge & Skills: A comprehensive understanding of the procedures, systems, and equipment used by pharmacists and technicians in the pharmacy and an elevated level of  proficiency  in performing  pharmacist’s  duties and responsibilities. A high level  of analytical ability, organizational and personal management  skill  and focus to ensure the concerted approach to operations. Practice experience working with as well  as revising  and/or implementing information systems. Excellent interpersonal and phone communication skills. Professional in conduct and demeanor. Proficient with standard software used in healthcare office settings ( i.e. MS Word, Excel, web browser, etc.) Additional Preferred Qualifications : Knowledge and understanding of the federal funded 340B program are highly preferred. QS1 and Specialty Pharmacy experience is preferred. Depending on site-specific requirements, an active certification in good standing as a Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP) from the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP) may be  required  but is preferred. Experience with Specialty medications and immunizations is preferred. Special Working Conditions ( On-call, Travel, Shift, Coverage ): Clearway Health Specialty Pharmacies, serving patients in hospitals, health systems, and communities, may require employees at client sites to work on company-recognized holidays. This information is being provided to promote pay transparency and equal employment opportunities at Clearway Health. The current annual compensation range for this position is $115,000 - $144,000. The actual rate within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors. In addition to a competitive base salary, this role is eligible to participate in the company’s bonus program as part of its comprehensive and rewarding benefits package.
