Responsibilities Assist in the design of highway design, geometric layouts, roundabouts, alignments, profiles, cross sections and other related infrastructure projects Contribute to the production of preliminary and final plans, specifications, and cost estimates Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team Utilize related software to support design and project needs (MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite) Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent Previous experience supporting highway design and/or other transportation design projects Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) Preferred Qualifications Active EIT certification or actively attaining EIT within 6 months of employment Master's degree in civil engineering Previous experience or formal training with MicroStation, Openroads Designer Previous experience developing construction plans and specifications
