This role leads initiatives focused on improving productivity, reducing waste, enhancing product quality, and maintaining compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead continuous improvement &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;initiatives focused on productivity, throughput, scrap reduction, quality, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and cost savings.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop and maintain workplace &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;safety programs, policies, and training in compliance with OSHA and &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;company standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct safety audits, risk &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-up.&nbsp;</li><li>Analyze manufacturing processes &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and identify opportunities for operational improvement using Lean, Six &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.&nbsp;</li><li>Facilitate root cause analysis &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and corrective/preventive actions for safety incidents, quality issues, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and production inefficiencies.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor KPIs related to safety, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;production efficiency, downtime, and quality performance.&nbsp;</li><li>Partner with supervisors and &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;plant leadership to implement standard work practices and sustain &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;continuous improvement gains.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate employee safety &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;training, toolbox talks, and improvement workshops.&nbsp;</li><li>Support regulatory compliance, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;inspections, and documentation requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Promote a culture of &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;accountability, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving throughout the &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;facility.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to stand, walk, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and climb ladders throughout the workday</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;required</li><li>Comfortable working in an &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;industrial fabrication environment with noise, dust, and heavy equipment</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><ul><li>Shop and heat environments.</li><li>Exposure to structural steel &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;fabrication, welding operations, and heavy machinery.</li><li>May require overtime &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;or flexible scheduling based on project needs.</li><li>Occasional Saturdays during &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;peak seasons</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental&nbsp;</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision</li></ul><p>The above job description is a general overview of typical responsibilities and qualifications for the position of Fabrication Foreman.
