By managing documentation and supporting project timelines, they play a key role in keeping work on track. This is more than a technical role, it’s a chance to make a lasting impact through precision and collaboration.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities and Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<li><strong>Project & Engineering Support      </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists with the research, design, and implementation of projects.</li>\n <li>Performs engineering project support functions.</li>\n <li>Conducts research to determine manufacturability, ease of assembly.</li>\n <li>Assists in review and creation of documentation.</li>\n <li>Assist management with “Research and Development” of new products and processes as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Technical Design & Compliance         </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Researches and analyzes design proposals, specifications and applications regulations.</li>\n <li>Interprets Architectural Specifications and Blueprints in order to develop CAD based shop drawings for Architect’s review.</li>\n <li>Interacts with engineering team to assess compliance with plan specifications.</li>\n <li>Identifies causes of product process instability and recommends solutions.</li>\n <li>Ensures products and systems meet client/customer specifications and applicable building codes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Project Coordination & Communication    </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinates with the client and LIFD Project Manager to resolve issues and application contracts.</li>\n <li>Manages the release of material to the production facility to ensure efficiency and compliance with customers’ critical path expectations.</li>\n <li>Communicates project information among groups, departments, and units.</li>\n <li>Supports team members and ensures that established goals and deadlines are met.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Documentation & Reporting </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain appropriate documentation</li>\n <li>Ensures that all project documentation is complete and current.</li>\n <li>Keeps superiors informed of significant problems and of progress in reaching established objectives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Team Collaboration & Relationship Management </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relationships with area staff.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Safety</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment.</li>\n <li>Use proper lifting techniques.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Physical Requirements </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Occasionally lift items no more than 50 lbs.</li>\n <li>Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Miscellaneous </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Support our values in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers. </li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications </u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school Diploma or equivalent with two years of additional computer training or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.</li>\n <li>Must have knowledge of structural steel and miscellaneous metals.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read and interpret drawings and contract specifications.</li>\n <li>AutoCAD (Required)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Compensation  </u></strong></p>\n<p>The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
