The candidate will be highly motivated, outgoing, and a resourceful team player to complement our team.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">This position will be based out of our Wall, NJ office. Projects and assignments will likely extend across southern NJ.&nbsp;</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Conduct field work consisting of site assessments/surveys, compliance inspections, sampling of soil/ groundwater/ stormwater/ vapor/ sediments and data gathering activities.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Maintain field notes and fieldwork documentation; prepare field sketches and prepare and submit field reports for project manager/client/regulatory review.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Assist project team in preparing permit applications and regulatory submittals.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Knowledge and/or desire to learn NJ and federal (e.g. USACE and USEPA) environmental regulatory programs is important.</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Qualifications and Requirements</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">A Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, engineering, or related field is required. Master&#39;s degree is a plus.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">At least 0-3 years of relevant work experience.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) 40-Hour training certification required. (Training provided if necessary).</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
