We offer locals and visitors an opportunity to experience breathtaking Alaska scenery, explore the miles of trails atop Mount Roberts, and learn more about Alaska Native culture. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Summary</strong></p>\n<p>Responsible for administrative support services provided to all departmental operations of the Tramway.</p>\n<p>Under the direction of the shift Kitchen Supervisor, responsible for the washing of restaurant dishes, equipment, etc., and the cleanliness of the kitchen area, in order to contribute to a smooth operation. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Full-time and part-time positions available.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>We're excited to share that the job is based in beautiful Juneau, Alaska! We kindly ask that all applicants either live in Juneau or be open to relocating at their own expense. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay and Benefits: </strong></p>\n<p>Seasonal Employees are eligible for the Seasonal Employee Layoff Bonus Plan. The plan is designed to provide an effective means to motivate and compensate eligible seasonal employees during the term of their assignment. However, Goldbelt, Inc. may, in certain limited circumstances, grant discretionary performance bonuses outside of this program, in the sole discretion of the Company.</p>\n<p>Goldbelt, Inc. hopes that by providing short-term incentive compensation, this will motivate and increase the retention rate among its employees which in turn will enhance Goldbelt Inc.’s long-term value.</p>\n<p>Starting Rate: $15.00 - DOE </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Necessary Skills and Knowledge</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work productively and quickly.</li>\n <li>Ability to learn the practices and techniques of cleaning and sanitizing restaurant space, utensils and equipment.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to physically lift and carry up to 60lbs. when necessary/ to continually stand during a shift.</li>\n <li>Ability to meet time and attendance requirements. </li>\n <li>Ability to work all different shifts including days, evenings, holidays and weekends. </li>\n <li>Ability to handle stress under pressure. </li>\n <li>Ability to provide quality customer service. </li>\n <li>Able to communicate verbally and understand and follow written and verbal instruction. </li>\n <li>Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other employees. </li>\n <li>Ability to work directly with the public, providing information and assistance on a daily basis. </li>\n <li>Ability/willingness to learn and pass on to guests those areas of interest to visitors, such as local history, people, culture, geography, etc. </li>\n <li>Some knowledge of basic cleaning principles, equipment and products. </li>\n <li>Detail oriented.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications (education, experience, skills)</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to successfully pass a background check.</li>\n <li>State of Alaska Food Workers Card.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferrred Qualifications (education, experience, skills)</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current CPR and first aid certificates.</li>\n <li>Prior Tram Operations experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Duties</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>During a shift, washes dishes, silverware, glasses, pots and pans, and cooking utensils.</li>\n <li>Ensures a well-stocked and orderly supply is available for restaurant use.</li>\n <li>Assists with movement of supplies from lower terminal to kitchen area.</li>\n <li>In accordance with sanitation regulations and standard restaurant kitchen practices, cleans the kitchen cooking, preparation and serving areas; dusts, wipes down and sanitizes all working areas and equipment; sweeps and mops floors.</li>\n <li>Assists and coordinates efforts with cooks and bussers in order to contribute to an effective and efficient restaurant operation.</li>\n <li>Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.</li>\n</ul>",
