    "description": "<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff; font-weight: bold\">Blueprint Subsea</span> is a small, dynamic, technology company, designing and manufacturing a range of specialist acoustic subsea sensors, sold internationally into offshore, search-and-rescue and military markets.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The company is looking to recruit a <span>“<span style=\"color: #3366ff; font-weight: bold\">Business Systems Software Developer</span>”</span> to join our team, who will be responsible for developing custom functionality and implementing software systems for managing in-house manufacturing and business processes using the ‘Odoo’ Enterprise/Material Requirements Planning (ERP) platform.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Prior experience of the Odoo platform is not necessary as the platform is open-source and designed to be extended with custom functionality, which is well documented. However, the successful candidate will require a good knowledge of Python and JavaScript programming languages as well as an understanding of the basic concepts of relational databases, web-based client/server applications and have good problem-solving skills.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is an ideal role for an entry-level software engineering graduate looking to apply their programming skills in a real-world business environment and gain expertise in generating solutions for problems using Python, JavaScript, and database-driven applications.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop custom modules and features within the companies ERP/MRP platform.</li>\n<li>Implement software systems to capture, improve, migrate or streamline manufacturing and business processes.</li>\n<li>Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python and JavaScript.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement (sales, marketing, supply chain, logistics, etc.)</li>\n<li>Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.</li>\n<li>Provide internal technical support and troubleshoot issues as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff; font-weight: bold\">Required Skills and Qualitifcations:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Python and JavaScript programming.</li>\n<li>Understanding of client/server data models.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of relational databases and comfortable using spreadsheets.</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span><span style=\"color: #3366ff; font-weight: bold\">Desirable Skills:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Odoo.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of other programming languages commonly used for web-application development (e.g. PHP, C# etc.)</li>\n<li>Knowledge of data query and manipulation techniques (e.g. SQL, PowerQuery, ODBC interfaces etc.)</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Git or version control systems.</li>\n<li>Experience working in a manufacturing or business process environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff; font-weight: bold\">Benefits Include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A competitive salary (circa £30,000 depending on experience),</li>\n<li>33 days annual holiday allowance (inc.
