This role involves working on municipal and industrial water treatment projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li><strong>Project Management:</strong><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Manage and oversee water treatment projects from concept through construction.</li><li>Prepare and monitor project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Construction Support:</strong><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Provide construction-phase services, including attending pre-bid meetings, reviewing submittals, and resolving technical issues.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Technical Leadership:</strong><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Serve as project &nbsp;lead and coordinate technical tasks across multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Mentor and train junior engineers and support staff.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Client Interaction &amp; Proposals:</strong><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Participate in client meetings, presentations, and interviews.</li><li>Assist in preparing technical proposals and developing innovative design approaches.</li></ul></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Must have a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program</li><li>10&ndash;20 years of progressive experience in water and wastewater system planning, operation, maintenance and construction.</li><li>Familiarity with both surface water and groundwater public water systems</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong organizational and leadership abilities.</li><li>Valid Class 1 Waterworks Operator license in Virginia.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">WRA recognizes that employees play an important role in its success.
