    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">The Whitecaps FC mission is To Unite and Inspire Our Communities. We are looking for a new team member to join Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the position of Coach, Grassroots and Community. This role will provide on and off field leadership for the training and development of grassroots and community participants, while supporting and upholding the overall club philosophy and objectives.</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Role Responsibilities:</span><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Guide and lead young soccer players (aged 7-16) through our development curriculum.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work with a team of professional coaches to plan and execute our soccer programs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintain a comprehensive understanding of training methodologies and ensure that they are maintained on a regular basis.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Provide clear communication and good customer service to participants, parents, and administrators</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Show appropriate behaviour and maintain suitable conduct towards athletes, officials, and spectators.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Adhere to our Code of Conduct, including Safe Sport measures, as well as lead by example.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Complete program tracking and maintain good records</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications/Experience:</span><br><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">In addition to bringing a commitment to Vancouver Whitecaps FC vision and values, the ideal candidate will require degrees of demonstrated experience as follows:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">A passion and enthusiasm for working with children and youth from all backgrounds and skill levels</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Must have or be willing to successfully complete the following (the Club will cover all costs):</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">A valid criminal record check</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Respect in Sport certification</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Making Ethical Decisions certification</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Able to be trained over zoom by VWFC development staff</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Access to a vehicle is an asset</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Flexibility to work match days and other special events as needed on evenings, weekends and some holidays</span><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">The Club</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Vancouver Whitecaps FC is the longest-running professional soccer club in Canada and the United States. Since its inaugural season in 1974, the club has united generations of loyal fans in British Columbia and beyond.
