This position involves leading the development of high performance on and off road tires while working with suppliers to deliver best in class products. This position is located at the Ford Racing offices in Allen Park, MI. Responsibilities What you'll do... Lead the design, release, and delivery of tires for Ford Racing Manage Quality, Cost, Weight, Function and Timing (QCWFT) to support program & engineering GPDS milestones Work with Purchasing to source suppliers Lead program delivery through various milestones Work with FSS (Full Service Suppliers) to deliver on time with quality Assure conformance to the Ford Racing DNA all applicable Ford & regulatory requirements Develop innovative solutions for performance vehicles – including design, CAE analysis, and testing Support issue resolution and design change management during the prototype build and launch builds Interface and maintain collaborative relationship with Core Ford Wheels, Tires and Jacks department Support current production, quality and cost optimization efforts Qualifications You'll have...
