You will lead the design and operation of secure, resilient, and highly available IBM MQ platforms, driving adoption of cloud</span><span>‑</span><span>native, containerized, and automated architectures across hybrid environments.</span></p>\n<p><span>In this role, you will act as a technical leader and trusted partner to application teams, cloud platform engineers, and operations stakeholders—ensuring messaging services are scalable, observable, and aligned with critical business needs.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Your Primary Responsibilities</strong>:</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Lead the design, deployment, and operation of IBM MQ and App Connect Enterprise (ACE) across AWS cloud and OpenShift</span><span>‑</span><span>based container platforms</span></li>\n <li><span>Drive platform modernization through containerization, automation, and cloud</span><span>‑</span><span>native patterns</span></li>\n <li><span>Install, configure, and manage IBM MQ queue managers supporting high availability and disaster recovery architectures</span></li>\n <li><span>Automate infrastructure provisioning and MQ platform deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Chef, and Ansible</span></li>\n <li><span>Integrate MQ build, deployment, and configuration workflows into CI/CD pipelines</span></li>\n <li><span>Monitor, tune, and optimize messaging performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and MeshIQ (APM6)</span></li>\n <li><span>Troubleshoot complex messaging, connectivity, and performance issues across hybrid and cloud environments</span></li>\n <li><span>Implement and manage IBM MQ security controls, including TLS/SSL, CHLAUTH, and LDAP integration</span></li>\n <li><span>Partner closely with application, platform, and operations teams to deliver reliable and scalable messaging solutions</span></li>\n <li><span>Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and runbooks, and support knowledge transition to operations teams</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>6+ years of experience supporting enterprise messaging or middleware platforms, with strong depth in IBM MQ</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience supporting mission</span><span>‑</span><span>critical production systems in large</span><span>‑</span><span>scale or regulated environments</span></li>\n <li><span>Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Talent Needed for Success</strong></span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Messaging &amp; Platform Expertise</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>6+ years of hands‑on IBM MQ administration experience in enterprise environments</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong expertise in queue managers, channels, clustering, and high availability / disaster recovery architectures</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience supporting mission‑critical messaging platforms in production environments</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Cloud, Containers &amp; Automation</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Experience operating containerized messaging platforms in OpenShift and/or Kubernetes</span></li>\n <li><span>Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Chef, Ansible or Terraform.</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience deploying or operating MQ platforms in cloud or hybrid environments (AWS preferred)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Systems, Security &amp; Reliability</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Solid background in Linux/Unix operating systems</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience implementing IBM MQ security controls, including TLS/SSL, CHLAUTH, and LDAP integration</span></li>\n <li><span>Working knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts such as observability, SLAs, and SLOs</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Ways of Working</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive outcomes independently</span></li>\n <li><span>Comfortable collaborating across application, platform, and operations teams</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex, cross‑platform issues</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Nice to Have Skills</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)</span></li>\n <li><span>Exposure to MQ Internet Pass</span><span>‑</span><span>Thru (MQ IPT)</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience integrating MQ build and deployment processes into CI/CD pipelines</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash); experience with C/C++ or Java is a plus</span></li>\n <li><span>Familiarity with observability and performance tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, or MeshIQ (APM6)</span></li>\n <li><span>Cloud and/or container platform certifications (AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
