Please see below for details about the position.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Title: In-Home Solutions Specialist</strong></p><p><strong>Reports to: &nbsp;Home Solutions Manager</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Purpose of position:&nbsp;</strong>To create a personal shopping experience that is unlike any other. To connect with and serve our guests to the best of your ability with the intention of finding the right solutions for everyone&rsquo;s needs.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-time. Schedules include evenings and weekends with two days off (in a row, if desired) during the weekdays. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Main Objectives</strong>:&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Be prepared to always serve customer needs in a way that ends in a happy guest.</li><li>Create a personalized shopping experience for the guest who desires that &ldquo;HGTV&rdquo; experience including but not limited to floor plans and visits to the home for measurements.&nbsp;</li><li>In-home visits during delivery may be required depending on the guest and their needs.</li><li>With management, set sales and service objectives monthly, annually and achieve those objectives. &nbsp;</li><li>Meet minimum monthly objectives within first 90 days of being active on the floor.</li><li>Be able to gain rapport, discover customer needs and satisfy those customer needs.</li><li>Know product line features and benefits for all products on the sales floor.</li><li>Be knowledgeable of general principles of home decor and design i.e. furniture, accents, color schemes etc.</li><li>Be knowledgeable of construction and comfort levels of all mattress and furniture models on the floor and be able to qualify and recommend the right match for your customer.</li><li>Become a professional salesperson using all selling principles of the Guest Solutions Process.</li><li>Make regular, planned follow-up calls on all customers who have delayed buying. &nbsp;The closing ratio of these calls should be 40%.</li><li>Continue to improve professional selling skills through personal development in self-study, making use of various resources (role-play, books, videos, self-study books, cassette tapes, etc.).</li><li>Complete all paperwork related to sales and service promptly according to Furniture Mall standards.</li><li>Create new ideas that will help improve store image, sales, and operations, and share them with management.</li><li>Develop long-term customer relationships.</li><li>Develop new customer leads through referrals from satisfied customers.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Some college - preferred</li><li>Minimum of one year experience in a retail selling environment -- <em>preferred</em>&nbsp;</li><li>6 months experience in the Home Furnishings industry or related academic qualifications &ndash; <em>preferred</em></li><li>Positive attitude and work ethic</li><li>Ability to work individually or with a team to achieve a common goal.</li><li>Strong communication skills&nbsp;</li><li>Basic computer knowledge required&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be able to stand for up to an eight (8) hour shift.</li><li><strong>Must be able to work evenings and weekends</strong></li><li>Must be able to maintain amicable work relationships with fellow employees and perform all essential job functions in an environment that will sometimes include increased levels of work-related stress</li><li>Undertake and complete other responsibilities as assigned in objective setting with store management.</li><li>Undertake and support any policy, change, system or work rules the company implements regarding this position.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Pay Range:&nbsp;</strong>This position has an effort-based pay system with a current range of $31,000 to 91,000 annual salary.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Benefits:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Best work/life balance ratio of any comparable retail position</li><li>Free Cookies, Custard &amp; Coffee!&nbsp;</li><li>Family-owned business with none of that <em>corporate attitude</em>&nbsp;</li><li>Employee Discounts&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Full-time Benefits</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Medical, Dental and Vision insurance</li><li>401K with Company Match</li><li>Complimentary Life Insurance</li><li>Vacation Time</li><li>Three paid Holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We are an equal opportunity employer and provide a drug free working environment.
