Summary
Protégé, a division of All Native Group and Ho-Chunk, Incorporated is seeking an exceptional Network Administrator to be responsible for design, implementation, security, and sustainment of network infrastructure and security stacks supporting NTSL operations and training systems,
Essential Functions
Design, configure, and maintain:
Secure network architecture
LAN/WAN infrastructure
Network security stack
Ensure compliance with Moderate-Medium-Low (MML) cybersecurity controls
Implement and maintain:
Firewalls, VPNs, and secure communications
Network monitoring and intrusion detection
Support continuous monitoring and ATO sustainment
Configure networks to support:
NMCI and DREN connectivity
Secure Government system integration
Perform network performance tuning and optimization
Support vulnerability scanning and remediation
Provide technical recommendations for upgrades and improvements
Assist with:
System integration
Engineering upgrades and technology refresh
Cybersecurity Responsibilities
Configure systems in accordance with DISA STIGs / SRGs
Perform IAVA compliance validation and continuous security assessments
Support RMF lifecycle and ATO documentation
Deliverables Ownership
Network architecture diagrams
Security stack configuration documentation
Vulnerability assessment reports
Network performance and availability metrics
Competencies
Enterprise networking (Cisco/Juniper/etc.)
Firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances
DoD cybersecurity frameworks
Experience with:
Training systems / lab environments
DISA STIG compliance
ACAS / SCAP tools
Supervisory Responsibility

Work Environment
This job operates in executive settings with frequent engagement at the highest levels of Navy leadership. This role uses executive office equipment and classified communication systems.
Physical Demands
The physical demands are typical of executive positions, with extensive travel and high-stress decision-making requirements. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time executive position with flexible hours based on mission requirements.

Extensive travel is expected for this position.
Experience
8+ years of network administration experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Network Engineering, or related field
