    "description": "<p>We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Facilities Maintenance Supervisor</span> to support our manufacturing operations through preventative maintenance, equipment reliability, infrastructure improvements, and safety compliance initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring maximum equipment uptime, efficient repairs, and a safe, compliant production environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If you thrive in a hands-on industrial setting, enjoy solving complex mechanical challenges, and are passionate about continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting daily manufacturing operations and long-term facility performance initiatives.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct thorough baseline assessments of existing equipment, identify operational gaps, and develop prioritized improvement plans</li>\n<li>Create, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance programs, including PM schedules and reporting systems</li>\n<li>Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with production schedules to minimize downtime and operational disruptions</li>\n<li>Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repair of production machinery and facility systems</li>\n<li>Manage spare parts inventory and equipment lifecycle records</li>\n<li>Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve reliability and efficiency</li>\n<li>Support infrastructure upgrades, capital improvement projects, and cross-functional operational initiatives</li>\n<li>Ensure maintenance activities comply with company policies and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations</li>\n<li>Promote and maintain a strong culture of workplace safety and continuous improvement</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Required</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma, Technical School certification, or Associate’s Degree in a related field</li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of progressive maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment</li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience working with heavy industrial or mechanical operations</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 General Industry standards and manufacturing safety practices</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li>\n<li>Experience maintaining digital PM systems, parts inventories, and equipment records</li>\n<li>Knowledge of RCRA, DOT, OSHA regulations, industrial hygiene, and testing procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Preferred</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university</li>\n<li>2+ years of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience</li>\n<li>OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification</li>\n<li>Experience in elevator manufacturing, vertical transportation, or specialized electromechanical industries</li>\n<li>Background in environmental compliance, including hazardous waste management, Tier II reporting, and air permitting</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Skills &amp; Abilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of environmental, hazardous material, and workplace safety practices</li>\n<li>Expertise in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation</li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n<li>Advanced troubleshooting and technical problem-solving capabilities</li>\n<li>Ability to reduce downtime while maintaining operational compliance</li>\n<li>Effective time management and organizational skills</li>\n<li>Initiative, accountability, and a hands-on leadership style</li>\n<li>Ability to lead change, influence teams, and drive continuous improvement efforts</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Why Join Us?</span></p>\n<p><span>We offer a competitive compensation package based on experience, along with:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span>100% employer-paid for employees</span></li>\n<li><span>50% employer-paid for dependents</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span>401(k) retirement plan</span></li>\n<li><span>Disability and life insurance</span></li>\n<li><span>AFLAC and wellness programs</span></li>\n<li><span>Employee discounts</span></li>\n<li><span>Paid vacation and holidays</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Join Delaware Elevator, Inc., where innovation and service excellence are our cornerstones.
