In this role, you will promote positive health outcomes through education, guidance, and compassionate support during the early stages of infant feeding and maternal care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Does this sound like an environment in which you could thrive? If so, we invite you to consider this opportunity.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides assessment, assistance, and support of infant nutrition, particularly breastfeeding, to infants, adult and adolescent mothers, and families.  </li>\n <li>Provides education to staff and physicians, as well as to the community.  </li>\n <li>Works closely with physicians and staff, and, promotes collaboration and communication.  </li>\n <li>Participates effectively in the daily operations of both inpatient and outpatient care.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>As required for certification and licensure.  </li>\n <li>BSN or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated ability of expert interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians and the community.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to teach effectively.</li>\n <li>Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic health record (EHR) applicable to job responsibilities/functions.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Current applicable Lactation Consultant state license.  </li>\n <li>IBCLC Certification through the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBCLE).  \n  <ul>\n   <li>Recertification through IBCLE required every 5 years. </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $40.06 - USD $57.28 /Hr.\n<h2>Our Commitment to Health and Equal Opportunity</h2>\n<p>Our Legacy is good for health for Our People, Our Patients, Our Communities, Our World.
