    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Carry out firmware design under the guidance of senior members of the design team.</li>\n <li>Use C++ to write firmware on ST MCUs.</li>\n <li>Develop GUI for firmware testing using Python or other programming languages.</li>\n <li>Utilize instruments like logic analyzer and oscilloscope for troubleshooting.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with other team members on circuit design support.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of firmware designs and testing procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Education &amp; Experience</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related technical fields.</li>\n <li>1-2 years of related experience is preferred.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Skills</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Solid foundation in digital circuit design.</li>\n <li>Deep understanding of MCUs.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with little supervision and to manage assigned tasks effectively.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to learn and apply new technologies and tools to develop innovative solutions.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Good office working conditions.&nbsp;Occasionally required to work in a Class 10000 clean-room environment, wearing smock with mask and gloves.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to move light equipment and tooling (&lt;25lbs) as needed when setting up test benches.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Safety Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
