Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the role of Associate Financial Representative. This position is integral to the growth and success of our firm. The ideal candidate will support the continued growth of the practice by servicing existing clients and building new client relationships with a strong focus on financial and investment planning strategies. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Financial Planning: Financial Plan Creation - Utilize financial planning software to assist in creating financial plans for clients. Cash Flow Management - Monitor and manage cash flow to and from accounts with a focus on maximizing tax efficiency. Portfolio Management - Conduct investment portfolio tax analysis, design, and rebalancing of portfolios. Implementation and Review - Oversee implementation and review of financial plans and portfolio management. Workflow Management - Accurate completion of all investment account paperwork, tracking onboarding processes, and ensuring timely client communication. Trade Execution - Place trades and manage investment paperwork and transactions. Client Education - Advise clients on holistic strategies with an emphasis on tax efficiency, risk management, and sustainable lifetime income. Insurance Onboarding – Complete insurance applications and maintain communication with underwriters Investment Onboarding – Complete investment applications and accurately complete all necessary paperwork Client Service: Client Communication - Manage correspondence, notes, files, and maintain compliant client records. Meeting and Case Preparation - Prepare materials for new and existing client meetings, update client recommendation documents (agenda and executive summary), and identify opportunities for improvement. Data Gathering - Collect essential client data and prepare comprehensive financial plans. Client Experience and Marketing: Manage Digital Presence – Update website, leverage and maintain e-marketing, and maximize social media presence. Client Reach Outs – Update client info, send holiday cards, gifts, etc with major life changes Professional Development - Stay up to date on software system enhancements, new products, and compliance changes/opportunities; and participate in continuous learning and development activities Qualifications: Must be willing to commute to the St. Cloud, MN office Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred Licensing: Minnesota Life, Accident, and Health insurance licenses within 6 months of starting. SIE, Series 7 & 63 are optional and will be determined in the future. All licensing tuition paid for by firm. Attributes: Honest, ethical, and maintains client confidentiality. Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. Clear oral and written communicator with reliable follow-through. Self-starter who works independently and collaborates effectively with teammates and clients.
