This role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and ensuring effective execution of projects with national scope. The TAP Operations Lead coordinates a geographically dispersed workforce while maintaining compliance with VA standards, schedules, and performance requirements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This announcement is associated with GKG's Future Opportunities. Expressing interest in GKG's Future Opportunities offers you the ability to share your capabilities and career interests with GKG; aligning your next step with your career goals!</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage and oversee TAP operational activities in accordance with PWS requirements</li>\n <li>Lead and coordinate contractor teams supporting projects of national scope within the Federal Government or Department of Defense (DoD)</li>\n <li>Direct the day-to-day operations of a geographically dispersed workforce to ensure consistent service delivery</li>\n <li>Develop, issue, and manage operational directives, schedules, and tasking to support effective project execution</li>\n <li>Monitor project performance, risks, and deliverables, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met</li>\n <li>Serve as an operational point of contact for VA stakeholders and provide regular status updates and reporting</li>\n <li>Ensure contractor personnel maintain required technical competency, professional conduct, and compliance with VA policies</li>\n <li>Support continuity of operations and implement corrective actions as needed to meet performance objectives</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree</li>\n <li>Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience managing operations as defined in the PWS</li>\n <li>Demonstrated expertise leading teams and managing national-level projects within the Federal Government or Department of Defense (DoD)</li>\n <li>Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent industry-recognized project management certification (must be maintained throughout the duration of the contract)</li>\n <li>Proven experience managing the daily operations of a geographically dispersed workforce</li>\n <li>Experience issuing operational directives and schedules to ensure effective project management</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency in office automation tools and project management software</li>\n <li>All contractor personnel must meet VA Personal Security requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior experience supporting TAP, VA, DoD, or other federal workforce transition programs</li>\n <li>Experience managing multi-site or remote teams across multiple time zones</li>\n <li>Familiarity with federal reporting, performance metrics, and compliance standards</li>\n</ul>",
