This placement<br>provides hands-on, supervised experience in a dynamic behavioral health setting serving individuals with<br>mental health and substance use needs.</p>\n<p><br>Interns will work under the supervision of qualified clinical staff and will gain experience in<br>documentation, treatment planning, direct client interaction (dependent on program of study), and<br>interdisciplinary teamwork.</p>\n<p><br>This is an unpaid, temporary educational placement.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Participate in clinical, administrative, or programmatic learning bases on degree requirements.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Complete documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) as directed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Support staff in tasks aligned with scope of practice and supervision requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Attend required supervision meetings and training sessions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Follow agency policies, procedures, and safety expectations.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must be currently enrolled in a university requiring practicum or internship.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must provide program requirements and documentation of academic expectations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must successfully pass a criminal background check.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must have basic proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Prior experience working within an Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must submit a current résumé.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must allow up to 30 days for follow-up and placement determination.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">COMPETENCIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work as a part of a team.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Organizational skills and attention to detail.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Cultural humility and trauma-informed awareness.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">FULL TIME BENEFITS </span></p>\n<p>This internship/practicum placement is unpaid and does not include benefits.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</span></p>\n<p>This role is primarily performed in an office building with standard office environment and controlled temperatures.  When working outdoors or at a job site the employee may be exposed to construction equipment or other moving objects/equipment; reference job site specifics.  The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
