Primary responsibilities include being part of a team that removes bills from validators from slot machines (the drop) and counts funds from table games and slots and poker, sportsbook, keno, and kiosk (the count). Respect everyone, all persons, and all the things created.</p><p><strong>Bravery</strong>: To do what is right, even in the most difficult of times.</p><p><strong>Honesty</strong>: Be honest in every action and provide good feelings in your heart.</p><p><strong>Wisdom</strong>: We cherish knowledge; wisdom is used for the good of the people.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Humility</strong>: Know that you are equal to everyone else, no better, no less.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>In this Role:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort&rsquo;s &ldquo;Unsurpassed Service Standards&rdquo; at all times.&nbsp;</li><li>Protects company assets.&nbsp;</li><li>Complies with Gun Lake Casino Resort&rsquo;s System of Internal Controls (SICS) and policies and procedures and contributes to the integrity of the drop and count.&nbsp;</li><li>Performs daily scheduled drop of bill validators from slot machines.&nbsp;</li><li>Opens slot bill validators, and sorts and counts the currency inside the validators using the currency counting machines.&nbsp;</li><li>Sorts, verifies, and bundles currency according to denomination.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensures slot count is complete, accurate, and properly documented.&nbsp;</li><li>Opens Table Games pit boxes, sorts and counts the currency inside the box using the currency counting machines. Sorts and counts Table Games paperwork for fills, credits, and coupons by box and shift.&nbsp;</li><li>Input totals for all activity by box and shift into the computer.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensures Table Games count is complete, accurate, and properly documented.&nbsp;</li><li>Remits all tallied currency to the Cage and the necessary reports to Accounting.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains the general cleanliness of the count room at all times.&nbsp;</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li><li>Opens Poker cans, sorts and verifies contents.</li><li>Fills and processes Kiosks &ndash; including BV&rsquo;s and cash cassettes.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Essential Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Must be 21+ years of age.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work and communicate effectively with little supervision or as a team.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to maintain effective relationships.&nbsp;</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy are required.&nbsp;</li><li>Be able to perform math calculations without the use of a calculator.&nbsp;</li><li>Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license from Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Authority.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Physical Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.&nbsp;</li><li>Manual dexterity to perform job-related functions.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Work Conditions:</u></strong></p><p>Work is typically in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, and/or noisy and may contain second-hand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3ft. wide access. Tasks performed from a sitting or non-sitting position. Team Members will be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull, and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned areas. Work may entail trained chemical usage.
