    "description": "<p><span>We’re looking for warm, reliable and guest‑focused Retail &amp; Front of House Team Members to join our hospitality team at<br>Bolney Wine Estate. This flexible, casual role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy visitor environment, and wants to be part of a friendly, supportive team.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span>As part of our Front of House operation, you’ll help create memorable experiences for every guest — whether they’re browsing our retail shop, joining a tasting, enjoying the café, or attending one of our events. You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service, supporting wine sales, and representing the Bolney brand with pride.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span>Shifts are primarily available at weekends, with additional hours during peak periods, school holidays and events.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll be doing:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide warm, friendly and professional service to all visitors</li>\n<li>Support the day‑to‑day running of the shop, including serving customers, processing sales and answering product queries</li>\n<li>Use POS systems accurately and follow all till, payment and service procedures</li>\n<li>Maintain an attractive, clean and well‑stocked retail environment, replenishing shelves and supporting stock rotation</li>\n<li>Promote wines, gifts and retail products confidently (full training provided)</li>\n<li>Assist with wine tastings, tours, café service and events when required</li>\n<li><span>Support opening, closing, set‑up and clear‑down tasks</span></li>\n<li><span>Respond professionally to guest questions or feedback, escalating to a Duty Manager when appropriate</span></li>\n<li><span>Follow company policies, licensing requirements, health &amp; safety procedures and service standards</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we’re looking for:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Customer‑facing experience</span> in retail, hospitality or Front of House (preferred but not essential)</li>\n<li><span>Warm, confident communication</span> and strong teamwork skills</li>\n<li><span>Reliability &amp; flexibility - </span>willingness to support different areas of the business</li>\n<li><span>Comfort in busy environments</span> and a proactive, positive attitude</li>\n<li><span>Weekend availability</span>, plus school holidays, peak trading periods and occasional events</li>\n<li><span>Interest in wine</span> and willingness to learn</li>\n<li>Right to work in the UK and reliable transport due to our rural location<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we offer:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive pay + tips</li>\n<li>Enhanced company pension contributions</li>\n<li>Group accident insurance</li>\n<li>Enhanced maternity pay (13 weeks full pay)</li>\n<li>Paternity pay (2 weeks full pay)</li>\n<li>EV salary sacrifice scheme</li>\n<li>Generous staff discount</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We welcome applications from candidates who do not meet 100% of the requirements.</p>",
