Under the general direction of the Controller, this role is responsible for general ledger activities, financial statement preparation, audits, and reporting for assigned corporate entities. This position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the organization&rsquo;s financial integrity.</div><p><br></p><div style=\"font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or a related field required (or equivalent experience)</p><p>Healthcare financial experience strongly preferred, but not required</p><p>Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation strongly preferred, but not required</p><p><br></p></div><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><div style=\"font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><ul><li>Complete month-end general ledger close and related account reconciliations for assigned corporate entities</li><li>Prepare monthly financial statements and accompanying narratives</li><li>Prepare tax returns (Form 990s) and other required regulatory filings</li><li>Develop year-end workpapers and analyses in preparation for independent audits</li><li>Identify internal audit opportunities and, when approved, conduct audits and report findings to leadership</li><li>Perform Accounts Payable functions or supervise AP staff as needed</li><li>Prepare ad hoc financial analyses for Finance leadership and Medical Center management</li><li>Assist in developing financial services relationships with Panhandle Network Hospitals</li><li>Actively participate in Finance department meetings</li><li>Build strong working relationships across Finance and other departments to support timely and accurate financial reporting</li><li>Participate in professional and Medical Center-related activities as appropriate</li></ul></div><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\">A conditional job offer is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug test and background checks.
