Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives, compliance, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control program.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provides patient transport services. Transports charts, records, supplies, specimens, medications and equipment to and from all areas of the hospital.</li>\r\n\t<li>Performs various clerical duties such as receptionist, answering phone, typing, filing, data entry, cross-checking, proofing, preparation of tables, reviewing and completion of forms, maintaining department documentation, and other related duties.</li>\r\n\t<li>Performs routine technical duties related to function of assigned department, prepares documentation and maintains required records, charts and files.</li>\r\n\t<li>Completes special projects as assigned.</li>\r\n\t<li>Communicates and works effectively with hospital/medical staff, patients and others.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintains confidentiality in matters relating to patient/family, department and hospital information. Adheres to established department and organization policies (i.e. HIPAA, Confidentiality, and Compliance Policies).</li>\r\n\t<li>Operates department equipment; assists in care and maintenance of department equipment, supplies and work areas.
