    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Pay:</span> £49,387.00 per year</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Description:</span></p>\n<p>Clinical Psychologist – Residential Care &amp; Specialist SEMH School</p>\n<p>Location: Ripponden, West Yorkshire<br>Salary: Band 7/8a equivalent- depending on experience.<br>Hours: Full-time / Part-time considered<br>Contract: Permanent</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>“Help children heal, connect, and thrive.”</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our therapeutic team within a dynamic, trauma-informed service for children and young people living in residential care and attending our specialist SEMH school.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Our integrated model combines residential care, specialist education, and clinical input to provide holistic support for children with complex trauma histories, attachment difficulties, and neurodevelopmental needs. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play a central role in supporting recovery, relational repair, and emotional development.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>What You’ll Be Doing:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducting psychological assessments and formulations</li>\n<li>Delivering individual, group, and systemic interventions</li>\n<li>Supporting staff teams through consultation, reflective practice, and training</li>\n<li>Working closely with education and care colleagues to embed trauma-informed practice</li>\n<li>Contributing to care planning, risk assessment, and outcome monitoring</li>\n<li>Engaging families where possible in therapeutic and systemic work</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>What We Offer:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Opportunity to train in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP)</span>, with supervision from accredited practitioners</li>\n<li>A supportive clinical team with regular supervision and CPD</li>\n<li>The chance to influence whole-system thinking in a truly child-centred setting</li>\n<li>Access to a broad, multidisciplinary team including SLTs, OTs, and art therapists</li>\n<li>A working culture that values reflective practice, curiosity, and relational safety</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>What We’re Looking For:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>HCPC-registered <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Clinical Psychologist</span> (newly qualified or experienced)</li>\n<li>Experience or interest in working with looked-after children, complex trauma, and SEMH needs</li>\n<li>A collaborative, emotionally attuned approach and commitment to trauma-informed care</li>\n<li>Knowledge of attachment theory, systemic thinking, and therapeutic models such as DDP, CAT, EMDR, or ACT is desirable</li>\n</ul>",
