    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p style=\"text-align: center;\">Missouri Delta Medical Center</p><p style=\"text-align: center;\">1008 N Main Street</p><p style=\"text-align: center;\">Sikeston, MO 63801</p><p style=\"text-align: center;\">Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - CRNA</p><p style=\"text-align: center;\">Job Description</p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Summary of Position:</strong></p><p>Executes the administration and management of intravenous, spinal and other anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, deliveries or other medical procedures.</p><p><strong>Functions of Position:</strong></p><p>&bull;Reviews schedule of cases assigned for each day and type of anesthesia prescribed for each.</p><p>&bull;Prepares and takes necessary supplies and equipment to operating room and assembles equipment, such as syringes and tubing.</p><p>&bull;Assembles anesthetic machine for administering gas and tests it to ensure proper functioning.</p><p>&bull;Performs and documents preoperative assessment of patient and notifies and/or consults the attending physician regarding any questions and/or problems.</p><p>&bull;Prepares and informs patients for anesthesia.</p><p>&bull;Administers and manages clinical anesthesia and properly completes anesthesia and patient&#39;s record.</p><p>&bull;Assists and accompanies moving of patient from operating room to recovery room or floor.</p><p>&bull;Assist the physician in managing the patient in the immediate post anesthesia phase.</p><p>&bull;Performs post anesthetic visit of patient and writes post anesthetic note on anesthetic record.</p><p>&bull;Participates in teaching programs for other hospital personnel.</p><p>&bull;Participates in Anesthesia Department meetings as well as daily discussions of procedures and techniques.</p><p>&bull;Responds to emergency situations of non-anesthetic nature when requested.</p><p>&bull;Rotates with other anesthetists to provide 24 hour emergency coverage.</p><p>&bull;Requisitions necessary repairs or adjustments to equipment.</p><p>&bull;Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.</p><p>&bull;Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in the anesthesia field.</p><p>&bull;Performs all other duties as assigned.</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>&bull;Graduation from an accredited school of Nurse Anesthesiology.</p><p>&bull;Licensed by Missouri State Board of Nursing.</p><p>&bull;Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetist in the State of Missouri.</p></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
