    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Works under general supervision in maintaining the equipment and building in a safe and operational manner.</li>\n <li>Repairs and replaces parts in equipment throughout the Hospital, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, and operation manuals, using various hand and power tools.</li>\n <li>Trouble shoots and performs various tests on equipment in making operation assessments. </li>\n <li>Provides supply, receiving, and distribution functions for Purchasing and Stores.</li>\n <li>Uses independent judgment in performing job.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Work requires the ability to read and write well enough to follow specific instructions as well as the ability to use independent judgment, which is normally acquired through completion of a high school education</li>\n <li>Work requires a complete working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, electrical systems, as well as, carpentry skills which is normally acquired after 1-3 years related experience in the above areas</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>The above statements are intended to describe the functions and related requirements of persons assigned to this job.
