Description
About Us
WHY PRODRIVEN GLOBAL BRANDS? BECAUSE WE ARE THE PROFESSIONAL’S CHOICE! You will find our market leading products and brands on job sites all over the world.
Focusing on end users' needs and delivering exceptional customer experience drives our success. Our entire process—from research to engineering to manufacturing to commercialization—creates products that ensure ease of use, productivity, durability and safety for the end user. On jobsites across the world, ProDriven Global Brands are most preferred.
Presently this position is in a hybrid status with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office for collaboration, teamwork, and business needs. The status and minimum in-office requirements are subject to change based on evolving business needs.
Overview
As a Supply Planner, you’ll help ensure we have the right product, in the right place, at the right time—while balancing service, inventory, capacity, and cost. This is an entry-level role where you’ll learn how demand, production, procurement, logistics, and inventory decisions connect across the end-to-end supply chain. You’ll work alongside planners, manufacturing, procurement, customer service, and finance to support daily execution and weekly/monthly planning cycles.
This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, curious, and excited to build a career in supply chain planning.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1) Supply Planning & Replenishment
Build and maintain short- and mid-term supply plans for assigned SKUs/locations using ERP tools
Generate planned orders (purchase/manufacturing/transfer) and monitor open orders to ensure on-time supply.
Execute replenishment processes aligned to inventory policies (safety stock, reorder points, lot sizes)
Identify and escalate constraints (materials, capacity, supplier delays) and propose options.
2) Exception Management (Daily/Weekly)
Review planning exceptions (e.g., shortages, reschedules, late supply, demand spikes).
Prioritize issues using business impact (service risk, revenue exposure, production downtime).
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive resolution (expedites, substitutions, reallocations).
3) Planning Cadence Support (S&OP / SIOP Inputs)
Provide inputs to weekly/monthly planning meetings: supply risks, capacity gaps, inventory outlook.
Maintain action logs and follow-ups for supply recovery plans and constraint mitigation.
4) Inventory Health & Performance Reporting
Monitor KPIs such as service level/OTIF, inventory turns, backorders, excess & obsolete (E&O), plan adherence.
Create and refresh dashboards/reports (Excel/Power BI) that highlight root causes and trends.
5) Master Data & Continuous Improvement
Maintain planning master data: lead times, MOQ/lot size, safety stock, sourcing parameters, calendars.
Support continuous improvement projects: parameter tuning, standard work documentation, report automation.
Who You’ll Work With:
Demand Planning (align supply with demand signals)
Manufacturing / Operations (capacity and production scheduling coordination)
Procurement / Suppliers (material availability, lead times, performance)
Customer Service / Commercial (allocation priorities, service risks)
Logistics / Warehousing (inbound/outbound constraints)
Finance (inventory valuation, working capital, forecast assumptions)
What You’ll Own (Core Outcomes):
In the first 6–12 months, you will help the team deliver:
Improved product availability / service levels for your assigned items/locations
Healthy inventory outcomes (reducing shortages and excess)
Stable and feasible supply plans aligned to constraints (capacity, materials, lead times)
Timely planning cadence execution (daily exceptions, weekly planning updates, monthly inputs)
Accurate master data and planning parameters that enable good system outputs
What Success Looks Like (90/180/365 Days)
First 90 Days
Learn products, planning policies, and systems
Execute daily exceptions with guidance
Build solid relationships with operations, procurement, and customer service
By 180 Days
Independently manage a defined SKU/location portfolio
Drive closure of top recurring issues (chronic shortages, late supply, parameter gaps)
Deliver reliable weekly supply updates and risk visibility
By 365 Days
Improve KPIs for your portfolio (service, inventory, plan stability)
Lead a small continuous improvement initiative (automation, parameter tuning, standard work)
Become a trusted planning partner who anticipates risks, not just reacts to them
Work Environment
Hybrid: on site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Some flexibility may be required during end-of-month, peak season, or disruption events
Qualifications
Required Qualifications (Entry-Level):
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Analytics, or related field
0–2 years of experience (internships/co-ops welcome) in supply chain, operations, analytics, or planning
Strong working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas; Power Query a plus)
Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and communicate clearly
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to ERP/Planning systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Kinaxis, o9, Blue Yonder, etc.)
Experience with Power BI/ AI
Understanding of planning concepts: lead time, safety stock, service levels, MRP, capacity constraints
Skills & Behaviors We Value
Structured problem solving: define the issue, quantify impact, test options
Ownership mindset: follow through until resolved
Communication: crisp, proactive, and fact-based
Learning agility: curious, coachable, and eager to grow
Attention to detail without losing sight of business priorities
