    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 16px\">Elevator Service Technician </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 16px\">Delaware Elevator of Florida has an immediate need for Service Technicians to maintain, service, and repair Elevators in surrounding areas of Southwestern Florida.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 16px\">Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment — Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate based on mechanical &amp; electrical principles – in private and public infrastructure environments.</li>\n<li>Must pay close attention to detail when following procedures and operating elevator equipment. Must be alert &amp; able to notice any changes in the elevator’s performance and determine cause to rectify in timely manner.</li>\n<li>On call rotation (Service Techs) scheduled after hours on regular basis, as needed.</li>\n<li>Able to work independently, to satisfy customer needs for emergencies, entrapments, or repairs.</li>\n<li>Able to satisfy fit for duty requirements to perform independently &amp; efficiently. Apprentice will not be scheduled alone for the on-call rotation (until satisfy educational and demonstrated skill requirements).</li>\n<li>Travel: Able to travel as needed (some overnight stay on occasion).</li>\n<li>Repair teams may handle more weight and lifting requirements based on individual projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">​</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 16px\">Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 16px\">We require a minimum of 5 years’ experience working independently as an Elevator Mechanic / Technician and hold valid elevator mechanic credentials – will consider state elevator license with additional years of experience.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 16px\">Strong mechanical aptitude and elevator troubleshooting skills with ability to handle physical workload required in fit-for-duty assessment.  </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Wages - Benefits:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">In return, you will receive compensation based on experience &amp; skills with company vehicle &amp; fuel card.  We offer an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision (paid at 100% for employee, 50 % dependents) - retirement 401k plans, disability, life, AFLAC, wellness plans, member discounts, paid vacations &amp; holidays; as well as continuing education throughout your career.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>AA/ EEO</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>#LI-JS1</span></p>",
