As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with EDC, you will be expected to have a thorough understanding of the theoretical and practical application of their engineering discipline, and a strong understanding of the other disciplines offered by the company while also leading and managing the full Mechanical Design on projects of all sizes.<br><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Lead and manage full Mechanical Design on projects of all sizes always demonstrating Client care.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Provide quality control for Mechanical engineering projects across all offices.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Project cost control.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Management of both project teams and cross-functional teams within the organisational structure.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Travel to client and project locations as required to represent EDC for meetings/ surveys/training etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Liaise and collaborate with other EDC offices for all matters as appropriate. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 22px\"><br>KNOWLEDGE &amp; SKILLS<br></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Proven experience of delivering detailed designs through the full design cycle.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Expert knowledge and experience in the following Mechanical design areas: Water Services, Heating / LTHW, HVAC, Fuel, above- ground drainage and BMS.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Deep knowledge of Irish building regulations, particularly TGD part B, F, G, L and the ability to demonstrate this knowledge in design and project lead.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Excel at working on several projects simultaneously and show the ability to prioritise and plan work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Ability to lead projects internally and externally and be responsible for project performances, including satisfied clients, profitable projects, and maintaining EDC’s reputation to enable repeat work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Demonstrate a good understanding of other building disciplines in the design and installation of buildings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Exhibit leadership qualities while working as part of a team.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Ability to make prompt, disciplined project decisions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #404040\">Commercial Awareness.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #404040;
