The bartender maintains a clean and organized work environment, restocks supplies, and follows safety and cleanliness standards throughout the shift.</p><p>REPORTS TO: General Manager/ Bar Manager</p><p>LOCATION: The Elmont&nbsp;</p><p>DEPARTMENT: Evaga Restaurant&nbsp;</p><p>Pay: Hourly plus tips</p><p>DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><ul><li>Greet and take drink and food orders from customers in a friendly and professional manner.&nbsp;</li><li>Remain attentive to customers throughout their entire dining experience, ensuring all needs are met promptly.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to all company guidelines.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform opening and closing side work, which includes restocking supplies, cleaning, and organizing the bar and service areas.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization standards in the restaurant, wait station, and kitchen service areas.&nbsp;</li><li>Accurately receive payment from guests, process transactions, and handle cash and credit card payments.&nbsp;</li><li>Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings to stay updated on operational changes and new procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Present a clean and professional appearance at all times while adhering to the company’s grooming and uniform standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.</li></ul><p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be at least 18 years old (or meet local legal requirements for bartending).&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.</li><li>Must be able to work weekends, holidays and events.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have TABC and Food Handlers certification</li></ul><p><br></p><p>WORKING CONDITIONS:</p><ul><li>Work is typically performed in the resort. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work involves a majority of standing, bending, stooping, twisting, climbing and some lifting up to 50 lbs.</li></ul>",
