AIS offers an incredible spirit of community and diversity of perspectives that come from students, families, and employees representing more than 90 nationalities and over 60 languages.&#160;</p><p><strong>POSITION DESCRIPTION</strong></p><p>The Primary School is seeking personable and enthusiastic professionals fluent in English, French, German, Spanish or Chinese, to serve as substitute teachers for grades 3K &#8211; 5.</p><p>Substitutes are booked on an on-call basis as needed for half day, full day, and extended subbing schedules throughout the school year.<br>Please note there is a specific need at this time for substitute teachers who speak Chinese and German.<br><br>The ideal candidates will have strong classroom management skills, familiarity with hands-on teaching practices, relevant experience with primary school students, and the ability to teach multiple academic subjects. We provide substitute teachers with as much advance notice as possible, a lesson plan from the classroom teacher, administrative support, and competitive compensation.</p><p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>Experience teaching, tutoring and/or working with youth is preferred</li><li>Regular and reliable attendance</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Our school is committed to the safety and well-being of every child.
