With ambitious private equity ownership and strong commercial momentum, Micross seeks to further strengthen its operational process capabilities, with the Process Improvement function playing a key role in this evolution.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">We are seeking a full time <strong>Quality Engineer for our Apopka, Florida&nbsp;</strong>location to support product and process compliance to customer and industry requirements. Continuously improve operational yield through deployment of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and SPC for inspection, assembly, and test operations. Improve and deploy the quality management system and ensure compliance with requirements specified in AS9100 documentation.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>The main objectives of the Quality Engineer are:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensuring proper flow-down of requirements from customers to operations/test</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support ongoing ERP system implementation to ensure production routers appropriately capture process requirements and details</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead key quality meetings to drive routine information disposition and action for successful QMS deployment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Drive customer satisfaction by striving to prevent quality escapes and timely follow-up on escapes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Partner with process engineering in root cause analysis of production issues (rework, scrap, etc.) to compel yield improvement, implementing process control and revising documentation</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Leverage quality software system to strengthen quality</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Learn production processes to become capable of driving the adoption of Lean Six Sigma (LSS)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support operational process improvements to achieve appropriate industry certifications.</li></ol></div><p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead root-cause analyses and implementation of corrective actions for process-related concerns</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Teach, train and lead work-cells in adopting continuous process improvement initiatives&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collect, analyze, present and disseminate data in support of facility-wide yield improvement/LSS/SPC program</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Operate as an Agent of Change to lead Micross in successful adoption and implementation of LSS program</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strengthen quality awareness across organization&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Amend and draft procedures, as required, to integrate LSS initiatives into broader Micross Quality Systems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform process audits, as required, to support Micross Quality Management System</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and conduct training sessions for administrative and factory personnel</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide technical assistance and support to manufacturing personnel and other departments, as needed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in a variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies</li></ul></div><p><strong>Other Duties &amp; motivate others to build a positive team spirit</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicate effectively with all levels of employees</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Comply with all quality and ITAR policies, practices and procedures</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform other duties assigned</li></ul></div><p><strong>Job Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">BS in engineering or physical sciences preferred: electrical, industrial, manufacturing, materials science, or mechanical engineering, or electrical technology</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of technical experience in Manufacturing Quality</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">LSS experience: green belt preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Total and practical competence in Six Sigma analytical tools and Lean Manufacturing methods</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience working in an electronics manufacturing facility strongly preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience working in a AS9100 or TS16949 or ISO13485 environment a significant plus</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience within the military/aerospace industry (or other highly regulated industry) a plus</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of MIL-Specs/Stds a plus</li></ul></div><p><strong>Job Skills:&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Superior communication skills;
