St. Paul Fuel, LLC is looking for motivated persons who want to be part of building a cohesive team to provide comprehensive fuel services to the Community of St. Paul Island and customers in the Central Bering Sea. We are recruiting for a Ramp Service Agent who will also have the responsibility of an Aviation/Marine Fueler.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB SUMMARY:</span><br>The Aviation/Marine Fueler is responsible for fueling of marine vessels, residential and commercial accounts, and aircraft in a safe and efficient manner. Assist with fuel equipment upkeep/repair, and infrastructure maintenance and/or upgrades. The Ramp Service Agent is part of the Saint Paul Fuel customer service team. Their responsibilities include: marshaling aircraft, loading/unloading and sorting freight and baggage, servicing the aircraft, assisting with pushback and towing, deicing and other duties as assigned.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fueler for operations on St Paul Island fueling aircraft, crab and fishing boats, residences, and commercial buildings.<br></li>\n<li>Perform fueling in safe and efficient manner.<br></li>\n<li>Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment<br></li>\n<li>Perform Quality Control checks on fuel supply as required<br></li>\n<li>Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.<br></li>\n<li>Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions.<br></li>\n<li>Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.<br></li>\n<li>Operate fuel trucks, and stationary dispensing system to fuel aircraft<br></li>\n<li>Responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the ramp at all times<br></li>\n<li>Monitor customer safety during boarding and deplaning, and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner <br></li>\n<li>Marshal aircraft on the ramp (e.g. directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft) <br></li>\n<li>Transfer cargo (including luggage) to other gates, other airlines and to passengers<br></li>\n<li>Observe safe ground-handling procedures and maintenance of ground service equipment, including the performance of equipment checks <br></li>\n<li>Comply with all safety procedures and airline policies <br></li>\n<li>Responsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of customer baggage, airfreight and company material; continuous lifting, loading/unloading, sorting and transfer of baggage, freight and company material <br></li>\n<li>Service aircraft as needed (e.g. aircraft lavatories, potable water, window wash, deicing and commissary items) <br></li>\n<li>Assist in ramp set up and storage of equipment and baggage <br></li>\n<li>Constantly communicate with flight crew personnel and other ground personnel <br></li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned by supervisor and manager</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma, preferred.<br></li>\n<li>Previous experience working in an aviation environment, desired.<br></li>\n<li>Successful completion of a ramp services training program.<br></li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license.<br></li>\n<li>U.S. Customs Seal for access to CBP security areas.<br></li>\n<li>Knowledge of proper lifting techniques when handling heavy objects.<br></li>\n<li>Experience working with live animals and dangerous goods.<br></li>\n<li>Working knowledge of airport safety procedures.<br></li>\n<li>Strong teamwork and communication skills.<br></li>\n<li>Great physical fitness and strength.<br></li>\n<li>Time management skills.<br></li>\n<li>Ability to endure tough working conditions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">NOTES:</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
