As part of our team, you&rsquo;ll be at the heart of delivering exceptional service in one of Alaska&rsquo;s most stunning destinations.</p><hr><h3><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do:</strong></h3><ul><li>Provide outstanding customer service to all Icy Strait Point guests.</li><li>Sell tickets and provide guests with information about all available tours.</li><li>Greet guests, conduct orientations, and manage line control.</li><li>Assist with tour preparation, including:<ul><li>Verifying excursion requirements (e.g., weight checks, driver&rsquo;s licenses).</li><li>Ensuring waivers are signed.</li><li>Escorting guests to tour vehicles or gondolas and ensuring timely departures.</li><li>Managing secure bag check areas.</li></ul></li><li>Promote Icy Strait Point venues, distribute literature, and sell merchandise.</li><li>Communicate clearly with tour guides, drivers, gondola operators, and management.</li><li>Ensure the safe and orderly flow of passengers on/off aerial gondolas and tour vehicles.</li><li>Assist with other programs and tasks as needed.</li></ul><hr><h3><strong>What You Bring:</strong></h3><ul><li>A willingness to learn about Tlingit culture and deliver a Tlingit introduction.</li><li>Knowledge of local marine life, plants, animals, and birds is a plus.</li><li>Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work with both adults and children.</li><li>A commitment to safety and attention to detail.</li><li>The ability to learn, retain, and present excursion information accurately.</li><li>Must be 18 years or older.</li><li>A safety-sensitive mindset (subject to drug testing).</li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Physical Requirements &amp; Work Environment:</strong></h3><ul><li>Willingness to live in a remote, rural community.</li><li>Comfortable traveling by small plane or ferry to and from a remote location.</li><li>Ability to walk and work on gravel roads in various weather conditions.</li><li>Capable of moderate physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and lifting more than 25 lbs.</li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Why Work at Icy Strait Point?</strong></h3><p>Icy Strait Point is a Native-owned and operated enterprise, offering authentic Alaskan experiences while maintaining a strong connection to Tlingit culture.
