This is a contracted postion.  The visit volume may vary, but currently the Music Therapist will complete approximately 40 visits per month and attend IDG meetings every Wednesday from 12–4 PM, if available. Services include music therapy sessions and legacy projects, depending on patient/family requests.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Music Therapist is responsible for providing music therapy services to hospice patients according to their plan of care. Duties include but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs assessments, evaluations, and establishes a plan and goals</li>\n <li>Performs music therapy treatments as prescribed by the Attending Physician and the Suncrest Hospice team</li>\n <li>Reports on client's response to treatment or any changes in condition</li>\n <li>Documents services delivered using electronic methods on day of service</li>\n <li>Attends team conferences upon request</li>\n <li>Participates in Performance Improvement activities, as requested.</li>\n <li>Ability to work well with verbal and non-verbal clients with a range of disabilities</li>\n <li>Connect with families and staff in a variety of outreach settings</li>\n <li>Ability to improvise in a clinical setting</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently Music Therapist Board Certified (MT-BC)</li>\n <li>Must be licensed</li>\n <li>One year of music therapy experience</li>\n <li>Completed Music Therapy Degree Requirements</li>\n <li>Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver's license and required vehicle insurance</li>\n</ul>",
