    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>In this role you will be responsible for assisting distributors and customers in rigging, troubleshooting and repairing Manitowoc Crane Group products. You will assist Product Service Managers and Distributors on set-up and maintenance of their new model products with focus on continued technical training.&nbsp; This position reports to the Field Service Manager.&nbsp; This position is located in Manitowoc, WI.</p>\n<p>If you’re up to the challenge, the reward is satisfaction . . . and knowing you helped build something real. Join our passionate team and help build something you can be proud of – a future filled with passion, pride, and satisfaction.</p>\n<p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Interact with MCG based personnel on matters pertaining to service materials, product requirements, availability, and code compliance&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Safely support crane assembly on customer jobsites</li>\n <li>Plan &amp; coordinate activities concerned with investigating and resolving customer reports of technical problems by utilizing applicable processes to eliminate future operational or service difficulties</li>\n <li>Analyze and troubleshoot problems when beyond the capabilities of the local distributor or customer</li>\n <li>Continue education through technical training schools, and hands-on troubleshooting under instruction of senior Product Service Managers.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Analyzes reports of technical problems to determine trends affecting future design, production, service and maintenance processes and recommends modifications to eliminate future problems</li>\n <li>Submit written detailed service reports, timecards, and expense reports</li>\n <li>Represent the company with integrity and a professional image</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>JOB REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school education with a minimum of 2 years’ general mechanical or electrical experience or Technical Degree with a minimum of 1-year same experience.</li>\n <li>Must have technical service background, computer literate, able to read and interpret technical drawings, good communication skills both written and oral.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must have ability and willing to learn to work with 480v of electricity.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Previous crane experience a strong plus but not required.</li>\n <li>Hydraulic experience a strong plus</li>\n <li>Must be able to travel locally and overseas frequently up to 75% of time</li>\n <li>Must be able to climb ladders.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in all types of weather</li>\n <li>Candidates with prior experience in heavy equipment, aircraft or military vehicles and electronics should apply.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards.</li>\n <li>Perform job functions in a safe manner.</li>\n <li>Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) required by Company Policy for the job being performed.</li>\n <li>Know and follow established job specific and facility wide safety and health procedures and rules.</li>\n <li>Actively participate in safety and health training and demonstrate competency based on training received.</li>\n <li>Bring safety and health issues, unsafe acts, and safety suggestions to management’s attention or correct those you can.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>EOE / DISABLED / VETERAN</p>",
