We provide a continuum of care in Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Programs, Transition Centers, and Community Release Centers, for offenders and probation populations. Join us in changing lives at our Bradenton Bridge location as an Operations Technician , as this position plays a key role in our clients' continued success. In this role, we are looking for individuals with strong leadership skills and a passion for inspiring, helping and challenging others . The ideal candidate will be required to perform the following:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
1. Supervise inmate population at all times, including meal times, work periods, visitation, and furloughs.
2. Ensure the safety and welfare of inmates, staff, and visitors.
3. Maintain Florida Driver’s License
4. Transport inmates to approved locations within the community for the purpose of approved activities to include but not limited to medical transport, employment searches and work assignments, and other activities as approved by Facility Management Staff.
5. Perform case management duties with assigned inmates and document within the required database system.
6. Conducts daily inspections of housing and common areas.
7. Records and reports maintenance problems through weekly inspections.
8. Conduct weekend required phone monitors job checks (on-site and telephonic) to inmate’s employers and ensure they are recorded on appropriate database (Work Release Management System).
9. Collect and record inmate paychecks.
10. Conduct all necessary counts, according to written policy.
11. Conduct intake on all new inmates.
12. Attend all staff meetings, when requested.
13. Maintain all daily, weekly, monthly Log Books, and any other required documentation
14. Sign inmates out to work and Furloughs, documenting all necessary forms and entering information into the required database as required.
15. Ensure inmates return all IDs/credentials, except Florida Department of Corrections issued inmate ID cards, when returning from outside activities.
16. Miscellaneous filing and record keeping.
17. Clock in and out utilizing the company time and attendance system.
18. Must be able to perform the major functions of job with or without an accommodation.
19. Required to attend all mandatory training specified by policy and as assigned by immediate supervisor.
20. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
21. Report all Workers Compensation injuries, whether or not they require medical attention or not, to your immediate supervisor, the Business Administrator and/or the Facility Director.
22. Report all breaches of company policy or code of ethics that you have knowledge of, hear about or see regardless of who is involved in the breach to your immediate supervisor or the Facility Director. Or the HR Department if necessary.
23. Report all unsafe conditions that could affect clients/inmates or employees which you become aware of to your immediate supervisor or the Facility Director immediately.
24. To be eligible for promotion to a supervisory position you must complete supervisory/team building training. This can be accomplished by checking out “How to Supervise People” CD from the corporate office and passing all tests with a minimum score of 80%. In order to be considered eligible for promotion, selected supervisory trainings must be completed in the Relias Training System.
25. Ensure that all applicable policies and procedures that fall within the scope of this job description are followed and adhered to.
26. Perform electronic monitoring duties when 95% or more inmates are inside the facility.
27. Conduct a review of all assigned policies, procedures and manuals as assigned by immediate supervisor but no less than annually.
28. Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE: Prefer three years of experience working in the criminal justice field; will train those with applicable skills in related fields.
EDUCATION: High school degree, college degree desired
**Favorable driving record preferred based on company's current insurance policy**

The ideal candidate will be required to perform the following:\\r\\n\\r\\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:\\r\\n\\r\\n1.       Supervise inmate population at all times, including meal times, work periods, visitation, and furloughs.\\r\\n\\r\\n2.       Ensure the safety and welfare of inmates, staff, and visitors.\\r\\n\\r\\n3.       Maintain Florida Driver’s License\\r\\n\\r\\n4.       Transport inmates to approved locations within the community for the purpose of approved activities to include but not limited to medical transport, employment searches and work assignments, and other activities as approved by Facility Management Staff.\\r\\n\\r\\n5.       Perform case management duties with assigned inmates and document within the required database system.\\r\\n\\r\\n6.       Conducts daily inspections of housing and common areas.\\r\\n\\r\\n7.       Records and reports maintenance problems through weekly inspections.\\r\\n\\r\\n8.       Conduct weekend required phone monitors job checks (on-site and telephonic) to inmate’s employers and ensure they are recorded on appropriate database (Work Release Management System).\\r\\n\\r\\n9.       Collect and record inmate paychecks.\\r\\n\\r\\n10.   Conduct all necessary counts, according to written policy.\\r\\n\\r\\n11.   Conduct intake on all new inmates.\\r\\n\\r\\n12.   Attend all staff meetings, when requested.\\r\\n\\r\\n13.   Maintain all daily, weekly, monthly Log Books, and any other required documentation\\r\\n\\r\\n14.   Sign inmates out to work and Furloughs, documenting all necessary forms and entering information into the required database as required.\\r\\n\\r\\n15.   Ensure inmates return all IDs/credentials, except Florida Department of Corrections issued inmate ID cards, when returning from outside activities.\\r\\n\\r\\n16.   Miscellaneous filing and record keeping.\\r\\n\\r\\n17.   Clock in and out utilizing the company time and attendance system.\\r\\n\\r\\n18.   Must be able to perform the major functions of job with or without an accommodation.\\r\\n\\r\\n19.   Required to attend all mandatory training specified by policy and as assigned by immediate supervisor.\\r\\n\\r\\n20.   Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.\\r\\n\\r\\n21.   Report all Workers Compensation injuries, whether or not they require medical attention or not, to your immediate supervisor, the Business Administrator and/or the Facility Director.\\r\\n\\r\\n22.   Report all breaches of company policy or code of ethics that you have knowledge of, hear about or see regardless of who is involved in the breach to your immediate supervisor or the Facility Director.  Or the HR Department if necessary.\\r\\n\\r\\n23.   Report all unsafe conditions that could affect clients/inmates or employees which you become aware of to your immediate supervisor or the Facility Director immediately.\\r\\n\\r\\n \\r\\n\\r\\n24. To be eligible for promotion to a supervisory position you must complete supervisory/team building training. This can be accomplished by checking out “How to Supervise People” CD from the corporate office and passing all tests with a minimum score of 80%.
