Benefits may vary based on state law.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Job Overview</h2>\n<p>The Patient Access Supervisor will be responsible for analyzing and overseeing all Patient Access functions. The Supervisor will perform QA of all Patient Access functions on a consistent basis. The Supervisor will utilize reports to analyze registration output and compile recommendations for improvement. The Supervisor will provide continuous training for quality improvement. The Supervisor will stay abreast of all State, Federal and Managed Care regulations as they pertain to Patient Access. The Supervisor will also communicate appropriate changes that need to occur due to these regulations.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>• Oversight of day-to-day activities of the Patient Access dept.• Ensure QA on registrations for all areas of Patient Access.• Maintain and analyze QA statistics and reports.• Complete bi-weekly and monthly reports for Corporate Director, PFS.• Provide continuous training and communication to all existing employees.• Review the quality of patient registration documents on a daily basis.• Work closely with fellow managers to ensure all procedures regarding patient accounts are completed in a thorough and timely manner.• Monitor to ensure all Patient Access policies are followed.• Maintain Patient Access Policies and Procedures.• Contribute to A/R goals for Patient Registration.• Promptly report any system changes or enhancements to IS and/or Corporate Director, PFS as appropriate.• Continuously update work knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.• Ensure adequate staff levels to cover for absences and peaks in workflow.• Maintain and replenish inventory, anticipate needed supplies.• Participate in any system testing as appropriate.• Work closely and professionally with outside agencies on special projects.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma / GED</li>\n <li>2+ years of scheduling, registration and insurance verification</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years of patient access experience in pediatric hospital/clinic setting</li>\n <li>1+ years management in related field</li>\n</ul>",
