We are passionate about working alongside our client’s and partners to maintain the utility services essential to modern life throughout the UK.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Sapphire Utility Solutions are seeking a Lining 2nd Man to join the team and to grown and progress their career in the utilities sector working for a growing company.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location: S</span>tafford</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours:</span> 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary: </span>Up to £16.50 per hour</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities – but not limited to:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working on the back of cutting unit assisting and learning how to use and maintain the cutting unit</li>\n<li>Working with patching and lining teams to pick up various repair methods so they can move around the teams and eventually runs a van across all contracts (Training will be provided)</li>\n<li>Setting up traffic management (Training will be provided)</li>\n<li>Confined spaces entry (Training will be provided)</li>\n<li>Risk assessments and updating work packs</li>\n<li>Dealing with customers</li>\n<li>The operative will be expected to be flexible picking up overtime if required and the occasional weekend</li>\n<li>Working away will also be required on occasion as we cover multiple contracts across the country</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience and qualifications desirable required for the role:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>To be flexible in their working approach as on occasion may need to work overtime such as at weekends </li>\n<li>Ability to work in all weathers </li>\n<li>To be able to cover long distances by foot</li>\n<li>The desire to progress within the company </li>\n<li>Knowledge of utilities and traffic management (not essential)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will get in return:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>In joining Sapphire Utility Solutions as part of the Lanes Group - the UK’s largest independent provider, we are committed to fostering a workplace culture that prioritises the well-being, growth, and safety of our employees.
