The successful candidate will manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects, working closely with clients and internal teams.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects</li><li>Interact directly with clients and manage project budgets</li><li>Coordinate and participate in field activities, including:<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Logging borings, test pits, trenches, and cores</li><li>Evaluating geologic and seismic hazards</li><li>Performing forensic evaluations of distressed structures and failed slopes</li></ul></li><li>Perform engineering analyses, including:<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Foundation design and evaluation</li><li>Slope stability analysis</li><li>Settlement analysis</li></ul></li><li>Prepare geotechnical engineering proposals and technical reports</li><li>Provide technical support and mentorship to staff engineers, geologists, and field technicians</li></ul><p><strong>Education</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>B.S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required</li><li>M.S. in related field preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)</li><li>Minimum <strong>7</strong><strong>+ years</strong> of experience in geotechnical consulting</li><li>Familiarity with local engineering practices and Austin-area projects preferred</li><li>Detail-oriented, team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
