As a Furniture/Appliance Delivery Driver, you will be reporting to the Operations Mangager. We need enthusiastic people with a great customer focused attitude! The winning combination of team spirit and desire for career focused growth will ensure a rewarding experience in one of our fabulous retail location! </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspect and load product</li>\n <li>Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle</li>\n <li>Lift and carry products into customers’ homes with no damages, and assemble as required</li>\n <li>Perform in-home customer service including customer settlements</li>\n <li>Document delivery status</li>\n <li>Record information such as mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered</li>\n <li>Complete driver check-in, including proper accounting of merchandise and invoicing</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Delivery experience is an asset</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license (class 5 only is needed) ~ Graduated is NOT sufficient</li>\n <li>Current Driver’s Abstract </li>\n <li>Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise exceeding 50 lbs on a regular basis</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent would be an asset but not mandatory</li>\n <li>Customer service oriented</li>\n <li>Excellent organization and communication skills</li>\n <li>Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required</li>\n <li>Must pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why The Brick?</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A flexible and comprehensive benefits package, including Health, Dental and Paramedical Services for you and your family</li>\n <li>Competitive remuneration package that will commensurate with experience</li>\n <li>Career progression potential with plenty of access to ongoing personal and professional development</li>\n <li>Employee discounts</li>\n <li>A dynamic environment to showcase your leadership talents.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>Apply now</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>The Brick is committed to fair and accessible employment practices and will accommodate people with disabilities throughout the recruitment, application, and selection process.
