We offer <u>competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs</u> to support you and your family.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.</li>\n <li>Evaluate contaminated sites and develop investigation and remediation approaches, including remedial investigations, feasibility studies, removal action work plans, and remediation design plans under state and federal cleanup programs.</li>\n <li>Lead the development of work plans, data evaluation, and cost-benefit analyses.</li>\n <li>Implement remedial pilot tests and systems, including vendor selection, logistical coordination, permitting, and supervision of field teams.</li>\n <li>Write technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals; oversee and review documents prepared by project teams.</li>\n <li>Support growth of remediation client base by leading proposal development, pursuing repeat business from existing clients, identifying new opportunities, and following through on personal business development goals.</li>\n <li>Foster trust-based relationships with clients, regulatory personnel, and other project stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Mentor, guide, and motivate early career staff assigned in the areas of project performance, including technical tasks listed above, client expectations and career development; work with employees to correct deficiencies. </li>\n <li>At times, this position may also include fieldwork including site visits, multi-media environmental sampling and characterization, drilling oversight, contractor oversight, and remediation system operations, maintenance, and construction.</li>\n <li>Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in geology, engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental preferred), or environmental science. (required)</li>\n <li>Advanced degree the same. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Professional registration (i.e., P.E. P.G.). (preferred)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 5 years (7+ years preferred) of direct environmental consulting experience in the Pacific Northwest marketplace; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) </li>\n <li>Thorough understanding PNW states and federal regulations. (required)</li>\n <li>Experience in effective management of projects, including responsibility for resource allocation, quality, technical oversight, and financial management. (required)</li>\n <li>Assessment/remediation experience with emerging contaminants and innovative technologies. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Experience mentoring and managing professional staff. (required)</li>\n <li>Excellent technical leadership of multi-disciplinary project teams. (required)</li>\n <li>Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)</li>\n <li>Excellent writing and communication skills. (required)</li>\n <li>Field work and overnight travel may be required.</li>\n <li>Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.</li>\n <li>Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required) </li>\n</ul>\n<p>This opportunity will be posted for at least five days. Below are the potential compensation ranges that we in good faith believe are applicable for this role at the time of this posting and are only applicable for jobs to be performed in the specified location(s) below. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec’s total compensation package for employees. Actual compensation will be determined based on education, experience, skill set and location.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum Salary: $84,710/year / Maximum Salary: $145,940/year (Seattle, WA)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We offer a comprehensive benefits package to all eligible employees including, 9 paid holidays, 2 floating holidays, a minimum of 8 sick days, and a minimum of 11 vacation days per year, in line with state or federal requirements.
