Apply now and apply the sunscreen later.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Pay starting at $15.00/Hour</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Keep a close eye on swimmers enjoying our many exciting water attractions</li>\n <li>Act as a first responder to keep guests safe</li>\n <li>Calculate the proper dispatch interval between riders</li>\n <li>Provide guests with a safe and enjoyable experience</li>\n <li>Ensuring that all Guests meet all rider requirements for each attraction</li>\n <li>Ensuring that all Guests ride the attraction appropriately</li>\n <li>Calculating the dispatch interval for each rider</li>\n <li>Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, by effectively managing attractions and grounds</li>\n <li>Achieving and maintaining a certification to effectively operate all waterpark attractions</li>\n <li>Adhering to bio-hazardous waste disposal procedure, and perform all related duties in compliance with fecal matter exposure policy</li>\n <li>Remaining at a “Test-Ready” competency level of skills once certified</li>\n <li>Assisting in other areas of the Aquatics Department</li>\n <li>­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies</li>\n <li>Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work in an environment as fast-paced as our water slides</li>\n <li>Willing complete and maintain Ellis and Associates training and certification</li>\n <li>Pass ride certification tests with 100% accuracy</li>\n <li>Understand basic rescue techniques, first aid, and CPR</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail, not easily distracted, and commitment to safety</li>\n <li>Friendly, outgoing personality</li>\n <li>Positive attitude to make guests excited about their ride or swim</li>\n <li>Must react well in stressful and emergency situations</li>\n <li>Must be 16 years or older (Can be 15 year of age for lower attendant)</li>\n <li>Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays</li>\n <li>Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language</li>\n <li>Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.</li>\n</ul>",
