The selected candidate is expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism, accountability, and work ethic while working independently in a dynamic environment.</p><p><b>Rotations:</b></p><ul><li>Sun & Mon 2300 - 0700</li><li>Sat & Sun 2200 - 0600</li><li>Sat - Tue 0700 - 1500</li></ul><p><strong>Pay rate: $22.00 / hour</strong></p><p><strong>Must have valid Class 5 BC Driver's License</strong></p><p><strong>Your Must-Haves:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Hold a valid BC Security License </strong></li><li><strong>Hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s license</strong></li><li><strong>Have a clean driver’s abstract</strong></li><li>Fluent English; excellent written and verbal skills</li><li>Positive attitude with professional demeanor and strong interpersonal/customer service skills</li><li>Excellent attention to detail to fulfill job duties and incident report writing</li><li>Excellent problem solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner</li><li>Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations</li><li>Basic to intermediate computer skills</li></ul><p><strong>Your Nice-To-Haves:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in a similar role</li><li>Basic First Aid (Occupational First Aid Level 1)</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances</li></ul><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Safely operating a Mobile Patrol motor vehicle in accordance with all laws and regulations;</li><li>Conducting security checks at client sites according to directives, standards and post orders;</li><li>Utilize company cell phones and Tracktik phone app;</li><li>Conducting alarm response to client sites as needed</li><li>Conducting House Watch patrol if necessary;</li><li>Attending lone worker sites to check on workers when requested;</li><li>Ensuring incident and shift reports are completed including Run Sheets, Vehicle Inspection reports, Tracktik reports, Alarm reports and Inventory reports;</li><li>Reporting for shifts on time, and maintaining proper dress and deportment at all times;</li><li>Reporting any unsafe incidents, practices and/or issues;</li><li>Conducting vehicle checks at start of shifts and ensuring any issues are reported accurately;</li><li>Being respectful towards tools/equipment and ensuring proper key control at all times;</li><li>Ensuring vehicles are kept clean and washed as required;</li><li>Maintaining high standard of work ethic and professionalism;</li><li>Promoting a respectful workplace by displaying a courteous, professional attitude;</li><li>Keeping management aware of any unusual incidents;</li></ul><p><b>Our Story </b></p><p>Commissionaires BC is a Canadian, not-for-profit security/enforcement organization that has been in business since 1927.
