    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p>Work Schedule: 7p-7a&nbsp;</p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Summary: &nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Nurse (RN) &ndash; Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) Integrated manages medications, screens medical issues, and promotes health in a Tier IV BHUC, engaging beneficiaries in whole-person care for mental health and substance abuse crises.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Manages meds with providers; administers/documents treatments; screens/monitors side effects (AIMS, nursing assessments). &nbsp;</li><li>Builds rapport; engages in health promotion/prevention/education; develops med adherence strategies. &nbsp;</li><li>Coordinates with providers; educates team on symptoms/side effects. &nbsp;</li><li>Directs/supervises LPNs; supports triage/medical screenings (vitals, emergencies). &nbsp;</li><li>Documents billable encounters in EMR within 24 hours. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties: supports IVC, discharge planning, follow-ups. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>This position may oversee LPN staff.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><u>Education/Experience</u></p><ul><li>Must possess minimum of Associate&rsquo;s in Nursing with 1 year experience with serious mental illness. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><u>Required Skills/Abilities</u></p><ul><li>Medical knowledge&nbsp;</li><li>Empathetic interaction</li><li>Strong clinical skills</li><li>Independent/minimal supervision. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><u>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations</u></p><ul><li>Valid NC/Compact Nursing License</li><li>Driver&#39;s license/insurance. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
