    "description": "<h2>-</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Parking Enforcement Officer</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay Rate: </strong>$17.00 - $17.50 per hour </p>\n<p><strong>Job Type:</strong> Part-time</p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Brooklyn, NY</p>\n<p><strong>Union:</strong> Local 272</p>\n<p><strong>Shift & Schedule:</strong> Evenings, Weekends, Overnight</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <em>Applications will be accepted until job is closed.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Propark Mobility</strong> is currently hiring a <strong>Parking Enforcement Officer </strong>for full-time and part-time opportunities to <strong>start immediately. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What we're looking for:*</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Patrols an assigned area to observe automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and other vehicles for parking violations in multiple locations</li>\n <li>Issues citations for improper use of specifically designated, improper parking such as parking in crosswalks or other sidewalks, improperly parked motorcycles, parking in preferential areas, and related violations.</li>\n <li>Operate a license plate reading technology through touch screen interface.</li>\n <li>Supervise towing and removal of vehicles by contracted vendors.</li>\n <li>Checks the operational condition of enforcement vehicles and performs routine operator maintenance such as fueling the vehicle</li>\n <li>Completes data required for citations including but not limited to violation type, time, date and location of offense, vehicle license plate number and/or vehicle identification number;</li>\n <li>Trash pickup at multiple locations</li>\n <li>\"Boot\" Vehicles that are in violation with a device called the Barnacle</li>\n <li>Exercise proper judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with people.</li>\n <li>Provide the company’s standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues </li>\n <li>May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company’s maintenance checklists.</li>\n <li>Other special projects as assigned by location management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What's in it for you?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>We promote from within - park your career here!</li>\n <li>Free Parking!**</li>\n <li>Flexible scheduling; paid Holidays and Wellness.</li>\n <li>Free and confidential employee assistance program (EAP) that provides support and resources to employees and their families 24/7.
