We combine industry partnerships and long-term federal experience with innovative technical leadership to support our customers’ critical missions.\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Platform Architect will work with a multidisciplinary ServiceNow team to assess, architect, and modernize the enterprise platform. The individual will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead architectural assessment of the existing ServiceNow platform, including capabilities, customization patterns, workflows, data models, and integration dependencies.</li>\n <li>Analyze customization-driven technical debt across custom tables, scripts, workflows, and platform applications impacting upgrade readiness, scalability, and maintainability.</li>\n <li>Evaluate alignment with ServiceNow architectural best practices, including configuration-first delivery models, CSDM adoption, and standardized ITSM processes.</li>\n <li>Define the target ServiceNow platform architecture including service taxonomy, service catalog structure, CMDB design, and platform governance standards.</li>\n <li>Design and guide implementation of CSDM-aligned CMDB architecture supporting service ownership, impact analysis, service mapping, and operational visibility.</li>\n <li>Lead architecture across core platform capabilities including ITSM, Employee Center, enterprise service catalog, integrations, and platform applications.</li>\n <li>Define integration architecture and oversee data integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems.</li>\n <li>Guide configuration standards, development patterns, and governance controls that reduce customization and maintain long-term upgrade compatibility.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with functional leads, developers, and government stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable platform capabilities.</li>\n <li>Support development of modernization roadmaps, migration sequencing strategies, and architectural decision frameworks.</li>\n <li>Provide architectural oversight during implementation including design reviews, technical governance, and quality assurance.</li>\n <li>Maintain architecture documentation including platform architecture diagrams, integration architecture, data models, and technical standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills/Experience</strong>: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated experience serving as a ServiceNow Platform Architect or Lead Architect supporting enterprise implementations or platform modernization.</li>\n <li>Deep expertise across core ServiceNow capabilities including ITSM, service catalog, CMDB, and platform governance.</li>\n <li>Strong experience designing CMDB architectures aligned to the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).</li>\n <li>Experience assessing and remediating heavily customized ServiceNow environments.</li>\n <li>Experience defining configuration-first delivery models and reducing customization-driven technical debt.</li>\n <li>Experience designing enterprise integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.</li>\n <li>Experience leading platform architecture within Agile or iterative delivery environments.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture including data models, workflows, integrations, and extensibility patterns.</li>\n <li>Ability to guide enterprise stakeholders through platform modernization and architectural decision-making.</li>\n <li>ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.</li>\n <li>ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.</li>\n <li>ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (preferred).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Clearance Requirement:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a federal public trust clearance</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About Acuity</strong></p>\n<p>At Acuity, your work matters—and so does your experience.
