Other duties may be assigned.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ol><li>Perform unskilled tasks in a variety of construction and maintenance activities such as carpentry, plumbing, and painting and lake maintenance.</li><li>Requires working in all types of weather conditions.</li><li>Must be willing to work weekends and holidays if necessary.</li><li>Represent the Recreation Department and the Property Owners Association (POA) in a positive, friendly and courteous manner.</li><li>Maintain a safe and orderly work environment using proper safety equipment and techniques.</li><li>Have a thorough knowledge of rules and regulations and POA policies in all areas of responsibilities.</li><li>Perform minor mechanical and adjustments on all landscape equipment.</li><li>May be required to drive POA vehicle or personal vehicle while conducting POA business.</li><li>Regular attendance is required.</li><li>Any other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.</li><li>Deliver outstanding customer service, making every effort to accommodate customer needs.</li><li>Ensure the safety of patrons and staff through accident prevention and safety policy, enforcing all facility and recreation location rules and regulations.</li><li>Have a thorough knowledge of rules, regulations and operational use with regard to POA amenity use.</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean amenity/facility at all times.</li><li>Report to supervisor any safety materials needed or maintenance concerns.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong><strong>:&nbsp;</strong>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong><strong>:</strong> High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. &nbsp; Requires ability to operate and maintain landscape power equipment and tractor lawn mowers.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong><strong>:</strong> Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. &nbsp;Ability to print and speak simple sentences.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</strong><strong>:</strong> Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10&#39;s and 100&#39;s. &nbsp;Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>REASONING ABILITY</strong><strong>:</strong> Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. &nbsp; Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</strong><strong>:&nbsp;</strong>Requires a valid Arkansas driver&rsquo;s license and a clean driving record with proof of liability insurance.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong><strong>:&nbsp;</strong>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
