Duties include evaluating damaged merchandise and daily repairs of stock items, damaged product, and customer owned goods.&nbsp;</span></span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">The Repair Tech will also need to be adept at using a variety of hand and electrical tools as well as various paints, dyes, and chemicals. Experience in furniture repair, furniture assembly, upholstery, or other related training will be beneficial in this role. The right candidate will be committed to and exemplify the values of the organization, maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced retail/warehouse environment. Extreme attention to detail and quality of work is crucial in this role.</span></span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong><u>Job Responsibilities &amp; Duties</u></strong></span></span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><i><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Typical duties include but are not limited to:</span></i></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Reconstruct furniture, replace parts, and in some cases modify or rebuild missing parts.</span></span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Inspects items according to instructions and reports damaged goods to supervisor.</span></span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Comprehend all methods of repair for wood, upholstery, glass and assembly of RTA.</span></span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Performs routine maintenance procedures as instructed.</span></span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Maintain repair log and notify manager if item cannot be repaired.</span></span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Maintain work area – be sure all chemicals are labeled, place all dirty rags in proper containers, be familiar with hazard communication and MSDS.</span></span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Commitments to AFW’s safety policies and procedures.
